i asked the volunteer back at in my town what would they do in the same situation at church and this is the advice he gives, "If a drunk (or similar incapacitation) person comes into your home, you don't let him stay there, even if you were praying the rosary. With his condition, he needs to be guided to an appropriate place. The church pue is not an appropriate place. With his condition, the Word of God typically does not enter or resonate with an ill mind. The Good Samaritan took the ill person to an appropriate place, not to a Synagogue. Being inappropriate is misplaced compassion."

the lord longs for mercy not for sacrifice

going to church out of town you dont know what they are like, they took a homeless guy out of church and it was the exact reading in mass telling them not to, maybe they did bc he was being loud here and there might have thought he was drunk but what if he wasnt but he really wasnt doing anything wrong, i think the brave thing to do would be to have gone and sat next to him...its not good he had that experience of being taken out.
